Vince Abella got his MSc Degree in Cybersecurity from Kookmin University, Seoul, South Korea. He is a software developer and cybersecurity researcher who builds independent web products and researches the security of next-generation 4G and 5G mobile networks.
At the Mobile Internet Security Lab, his work covers 4G and 5G mobile networks, including 5G global-roaming testbeds in Kubernetes with Open5GS and PacketRusher, Android tooling for cellular protocol data collection, and detection systems for false base stations.
He also ships full-stack web systems for conferences, communities, and event platforms, combining product engineering with security research and community work through OWASP Cebu.
